September 18th, 2013 by Anonymous"The products seem fine, but the company regularly indulges in false advertising by offering fluctuating "discounts" on their products, but bumping the base price up or down so the price the consumer pays is unchanged or even higher than usual. For example the $855. rug I looked at was offered at 80% off, yet the price was $342. That's not 80% off. Almost all other marked 80% off rugs were the same. The next week the same rugs were "60% off" but the final prices were exactly the same as they were at 80% off. When I contacted the company the sales rep said to they raise the base prices during a sale "to offer a larger discount." Many people complaining about this obvious fraud on Twitter, Facebook and other social media, but Rugs USA deletes those posts and bans omplainers as fast as they can. So beware - the sales are often faked."
