5 Best Black Friday Purchases
Seems like everyone is buzzing about Black Friday already. People are chatting about everything Black Friday – from outdoor retail giant REI’s decision to close that day to the constant guessing about which stores will be open when and offering what amazing deals. Interestingly enough though, Black Friday itself is no longer limited to the Friday following Thanksgiving. In fact, more retailers than ever plan to start deep discounts online Thanksgiving Day. This is great news for those of us who love shopping, love frugal deals, and hate long lines. Of course, we also know folks who swear that Black Friday shopping is an annual exercise in family bonding.
Whether you plan to hit the stores or the sites, these 5 items are most likely to be your best Black Friday purchases for 2015:
Black Friday Televisions
At some point in American history, the ability to score an upgraded television for a lot less started happening on Black Friday. That will remain true for 2015 as well. Look for giant deals on giant televisions, say 65″ and larger. Expect the usual suspects (Best Buy, Target, Walmart, etc) to have amazing door busters on televisions that day, but be sure you get there early or do some fast clicking online as these won’t last long.
Black Friday Computers
Computers and laptops look to be coming in a close second for Best Black Friday deal. Dell is already hinting at some pretty amazing prices available that day and Apple will certainly offer better deals on Black Friday than Cyber Monday. Since quantities may be limited, be sure to check ALL retailers and not just the obvious ones. Kmart and Staples may be a bit less crowded.
Black Friday Gaming Systems

Hard core gamers know that Black Friday is absolutely the time of year to look for gaming bundles. Look for console and game bundles at prices lower than just the console alone. Also, expect to see popular games at up to 50% off on Black Friday. Prefer to game on your PC? No problem, PC gamers will also score game deals online starting as early as Thanksgiving morning.
Black Friday Electronics
Yes, yes, yes televisions, gaming systems and computers could all fall into this category. However, since the sales on those individually were worth highlighting now it’s time to look at all the remaining electronics. This is the time to load up on Beats headphones, tablets, cameras, cell phones and accessories as they will all be part of Black Friday flash sales. Don’t forget about activity trackers too. They have been a hit since they came out last year and we predict even more discounts since there are more options to choose from this go around.
Black Friday Appliances and Home Goods

Gaming systems aren’t the only bundles in town on Black Friday. It’s the perfect opportunity to get bundled offers on big ticket appliances like refrigerators and stoves. However, this is also when smaller household appliances, such as juicers and blenders see their best prices. Keep an eye out for those door busters – with super low prices these make incredible gifts and stocking stuffers.
