The January Cure: Week Two Results

We should probably go ahead and add a subtitle to this week’s post – Epic Fail. Sigh.  Last week, I felt pretty good about my results with the January Cure. This week, however, I just was not able to stay on top of it.

Oh, sure I have reasons and some of them are pretty valid. Yet, isn’t this always the way with resolutions? We start off so motivated that nothing could stand in the way and within a couple of weeks if we aren’t careful, poof – the motivation has magically disappeared, and we are back to where we were in the first place.

Here are a few of the reasons why OTHER people may be in the same boat as me by mid-January. Anyway, here are this week’s spotty results.

We have some results to share after the first round of assignments from the Apartment Therapy January Cure.  Honestly, I faltered a bit. I missed a day and had to do make it up the next go around, but even that wasn’t so bad. What makes this whole process so wonderful is how easy it is to accomplish by just doing the single task assigned! So, ready to see how we stacked up?

New Year’s Resolution: Apartment Therapy’s January Cure

New Year’s resolutions are so easily broken, and yet I can never resist the urge to set just a couple each year. I am one of those people that gets a wee bit inspired and optimistic about the promise of a new year and the capacity for change. I will also admit that getting organized is pretty much always on the list. This time, I knew I would need a plan. I wanted some type of accountability and/or direction since I tend to think about getting organized a lot more than actually doing anything about it.
